We love getting the word out about the best Edmonton has to offer. If you think you have the skills to help us manage our social media accounts, online ads, this website, and a variety of print and in-person strategies, we want to hear from you.

Our cruises won't happen without our stellar customer service staff who help our guests with their tickets!

Each year we handle thousands of emails, phone calls, and in person visits. If you are great with a computer, love talking to people, problem solving crazy situations, and generally like to do the right thing, we want to hear from you!

Food and Beverage

As a banquet lead on the Edmonton Riverboat you would be responsible for overseeing the delivery and execution of meal services. This entails ensuring our famous buffet is ready and waiting for customers, and even executing private exclusive events. If you have a passion for food service and experience with banquets, we want to hear from you!

Our shift supervisors help coordinate the staff and other operations when customers are present. If you love keeping a schedule and ensuring all players on the team are doing their best work, you'll fit in great here!

We are looking for a head chef who is interested in leading all our food operations on the riverboat. From large buffets to private events, to just simple burgers, we do a little bit of everything here. We are looking for a strong leader who loves the technical and operational side of running a kitchen. Get in touch and let's talk about the opportunity!

Our kitchen staff are the heart of the Edmonton Queen, and without them we wouldn't have the energy to operate! We offer a variety of food services onboard, from full buffets for hundreds of people to simple burgers and hot dogs on a slow day! If you are looking from anything from a dishwashing position to being an executive chef, we are looking forward to hearing from you.

Stewards aboard the Edmonton Queen are important to the enjoyment of our guests. Our stewards handle a wide variety of tasks, from setup before a cruise, to clearing tables, food service, and banquet operations.

The only minimum requirements we have for being a steward is a good attitude, being a team player, and consistently showing up for work!

We have two bars onboard the Edmonton Queen. On any given day we may have 1-6 bartenders present, depending on the event.

As a bartender you must hold a valid ProServe certificate from AGLC.

Marine Crew

The Edmonton Queen has several mechanical systems to maintain. We require a Chief Engineer with "Small Vessel Machinery Operator-Restricted" qualifications. If you are permitted to work as a marine engineer in Canada we would love to talk to you.

We require a variety of deckhands to operate the Edmonton Queen. Deckhands are regulated by Transport Canada. We require a valid STCW certificate and a valid work permit. Permanent residency is not required. If you are an officer but you are not endorsed to work as an officer in Canada we still welcome you to work as a deckhand with us!

We have a variety of seasonal and year round positions available. Our 2025 summer season runs from May to September. We will be hiring for many positions in late March and throughout April.
