The Edmonton Queen is the most unique venue in Edmonton. It is the only riverboat and the only floating restaurant or hall in the city. Your guests will walk away having experienced something truly special!
We offer full food and beverage options for groups of up to 350 guests. Availability extends to daytime and late-night slots, any day of the week.
What do I get?
The riverboat is yours for your rental. You may decorate the entire boat as you wish, as long as it doesn't damage the riverboat or pollute the environment. We offer our own onboard food and beverage service but you are also welcome to bring your own catering.
Pre-boarding and set up time is depends on your unique event but we try our best to accommodate reasonable requests.
Sailing up and down the North Saskatchewan River is at your discretion. Our marine crew is always present for your safety.
Private rentals typically span over a 3-hour block, including 1 hour for boarding and a 1.5-hour cruise.
Example: 10am — Guests arrive and food is available; 11am — riverboat sets sail — 12:30pm riverboat returns — 1pm final guests depart.
How much does it cost?
The most affordable way to book the riverboat is during weekdays during daytime hours. Our evenings and weekends are filled with our public cruises and offsetting one of those is possible but costs more.
A full private rental requires you to cover the entire cost of the riverboat, so most groups of less than 100 prefer to join our public cruises. To inquire about group bookings please visit our Group Booking page.
A typical private rental costs at least $100 per person, with a wide variety of factors such as the season, time of day, day of week, with food and beverage influencing costs.
